The First Ever Virtual A Night Of Miracles Gala For The BC Children's Hospital Foundation raised $480,000

  • The First Ever Virtual A Night Of Miracles Gala For The BC Children's Hospital Foundation raised $480,000

This past Saturday evening, A Night Of Miracles Gala was a huge success as hundreds of generous community members joined to help raise $480,000 (and counting) at the first ever virtual A Night of Miracles Gala to support children across BC diagnosed with diabetes.

It's because of the generosity of the community we've raised more than $1.2 million toward our $3.1 million goal to transform pediatric diabetes care across the province. By joining together we rose above the many challenges facing us today to make a difference in the lives of these children and their families.

Your compassion and commitment is giving a lifeline to families who need it most. From Dr. Shazhan Amed and her team, you learned about how the rapid growth of diabetes will affect more and more families across BC. And you heard from Evelyn’s parents about how a village of supporters could make all the difference for families like theirs who struggle with diabetes management.

The President and CEO of the BC Children's Hospital Foundation Teri Nicholson shares a special video gratitude message.

With your support, virtual education resources tailored for different families’ needs, delivered to where they are, will help provide them with the empowered village of support they need. You responded with immediacy and care. In doing so, you have brought us even closer to our goal of revolutionizing diabetes care across BC—and in the process, giving every child with diabetes a chance to thrive.
