Lockin' Lips In Paris: Couples Seal Their Love At Eiffel Tower With Heart-Shaped Post-Its

The Canadian Press, 16 Feb, 2015 12:51 PM
PARIS — Couples in Paris for Valentine's Day are sealing their love at the Eiffel Tower with the aid of heart-shaped sticky notes.

The French capital's tallest monument is getting in the mood by providing pink stickers that amorous tourists can write their names on and stick to the window of the tower's first floor viewing deck.

One tourist named James, who was visiting with a partner from England, said "I think it a lovely idea, because you can leave your mark on the Eiffel Tower."

The Eiffel Tower has also designated several "Place to Kiss" areas at all levels of the 324-meter (1,063-foot) structure where lovers can both smooch and look in wonder across the panorama of the City of Light.
