Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 02 Jul, 2021 10:40 AM
  • Historic Stewart Farmhouse Welcomes Your Family Back

Historic Stewart Farmhouse, located at 13723 Crescent Road in South Surrey, reopens to the public July 2, 2021 with numerous heritage demonstrations ongoing through the weekend of July 3-4.

From tours with a costumed guide and a scavenger hunt to butter churning demos, lawn games and more, there is something for all ages to enjoy. While anyone can visit the picturesque grounds, pre-registration is required to tour the farmhouse. Only six visitors from the same ‘bubble’ allowed per session.

“We’re very excited to welcome visitors back for Farmhouse tours,” said Curator Jerrilin Spence. “Our popular tours are fun, educational, and participatory for all ages.”

Tours run Thursday and Friday from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.; Saturdays and Sundays from 12 to 5 p.m. in 30-minute sessions, with unlimited time to explore the scenic grounds. On the weekend of July 3-4, heritage demonstrations for all ages will run every hour from 1 to 4 p.m.
