Fruiticana in Surrey made a large donation to the Surrey Food Bank.
On Monday afternoon Tony Singh, Founder & President of Fruiticana in Surrey, made a large food donation to the Surrey Food Bank, delivered in two 10-tonne trucks.
Even during these trying COVID19 times Mr. Singh didn't shy away from philanthropy and spoke about the importance of giving.
Food Bank representatives and Surrey Board of Trade CEO Anita Huberman much appreciated his generosity.
They are thrilled that he wants to donate large sums of food every year going forward to the Surrey Food Bank.
With a surge in COVID19 cases in the midst of the second wave of this unprecedented global health crisis, it is not only a time of reflection but also to hear from somebody who tested positive.
Hosted by Santa and Mrs. Claus, the virtual event featured local performers Warren Dean Flandez Bukola, Quinn Pickering, the Royal Academy of Bhangra, Illest Illusionz and Andrew Allen.
It's because of the generosity of the community we've raised more than $1.2 million toward our $3.1 million goal to transform pediatric diabetes care across the province.
