  • Father-Daughter Duo Shaking with Excitement after $125K Scratch & Win Ticket

Pirashalini Firangs said her hands were shaking upon scratching a Super Money Multiplier Scratch & Win ticket that landed her and her father, Frankis Christurasa, with $125,000.

“I scratched the ticket and saw there were three symbols so I checked it on my phone… in that moment my hands were shaking,” Firangs recalled.

“My daughter told me when I got home…I had no idea,” said Christurasa. “My heart was racing!”

The Vancouver residents purchased the ticket from Victoria Drive Town Pantry and checked their ticket on the BCLC Lotto! app.

“My dad went crazy,” Firangs said, recalling the moment she shared the winning news.

Christurasa has plans to put his part of their win towards his children’s post-secondary education.

On how it feels to win, Christurasa says “Oh my gosh, the feeling is too much!”

“It’s really exciting,” Firangs added.

According to the lottery corporation, the odds of winning the top prize of $125,000 on a Super Money Multiplier ticket are approximately one in 500,000.
