Darpan News Desk, 06 Apr, 2017 12:54 PM
Just in time for Vaisakhi, CIBC is exclusively offering Canadians limited edition unique festive Gold and Silver coins to commemorate this year’s celebration. CIBC is the only bank in Canada to offer Vaisakhi coins, which are available for purchase online and at select branches. They can also be ordered at any branch in Canada for pickup.

With the popularity of the one ounce Vaisakhi Silver coins introduced a few years ago, this year CIBC is offering 10 gram Gold coins. The coins are offered in both 24 karat gold and pure silver and are of the highest industry standard purity.

The one ounce silver coin is available at $59.95 and the 10 gram gold coin is priced at $625. These limited edition Vaisakhi coins have images of Khanda and Ikk Onkar, key symbols within the Sikh religion. Packaged in a black clamshell CIBC case, the coins are a thoughtful and timely gift during this time of year.

CIBC is also proud to sponsor this year’s Vaisakhi Parade in Malton, Ontario on May 7 and in Surrey. British Columbia on April 22, which is the largest Vaisakhi parade of its kind in Canada attracting more than 200,000 visitors.

In celebration of Vaisakhi, from April 13 to 16, Canadians can also take advantage of the special rate offered by CIBC Global Money Transfer service to send money to India . CIBC Global Money Transfe service makes it easier and more affordable for Canadians to send money to loved ones worldwide by eliminating the transfer fees.
