Basant Motors celebrates its 30th anniversary by giving away scholarships to highs school students

  • Basant Motors celebrates its 30th anniversary by giving away scholarships to highs school students

Basant Motors Celebrated its 30th anniversary and presented scholarships of $30,000 on Sunday to youth within the community who are excelling academically and in extra-curricular activities. 

The scholarships are to help youth out with their post-secondary education and help them achieve their goals and dreams in life. 

Basant Motors has undertaken this community initiative for the past 30 years and has handed out money to numerous deserving youth of the community. 

The event over the years has been well attended by high profile politicians over the years who have acknowledge the efforts of Basant Motors President, Baldev Bath.  

This year Mayor Doug McCallum and City of Surrey staff  graced the occasion with their presence.
