Video: Pakistani Woman Offended By Traffic Police 'Speaking To Her In Punjabi In A Muslim Country'

    A woman in Pakistan said that it is offensive to speak in Punjabi in a Muslim country and to women, and netizens are very confused.

     

    Videos of the woman that seemed to have been filmed in Pakistan emerged online and soon went viral on Twitter.

     

    In the 2:20-minute video, the woman’s car was stopped at the toll where she was heard accusing the policeman of abusing her in Punjabi. Based on the conversation, the clip has surfaced from a Muslim country.

     

    The woman alleged: “He told me in Punjabi ... Madam! Just take down the glass slowly. Who is he to say this?”

     
     

    Meanwhile, the person filming the video asks the woman that the policeman was just asking something from her. But the woman claimed that the policeman didn’t ask for anything, instead said some “nonsense” in Punjabi.

     

    The policeman responds and questions the woman whether it is a crime to talk to someone in Punjabi. The woman answered that in a “Muslim country, how can you talk to a woman like this”.

     

    After half-a-minute, the woman starts yelling at the man who is filming the video, and asks if he doesn’t have a sense of humour, and don’t women have rights in this country.

     

    The video generated a huge buzz on all social media platforms.
