Twitter Blocks Sikhs For Justice Legal Adviser Gurpatwant Singh Pannun’s Account

Darpan News Desk IANS, 05 Sep, 2018 11:04 AM

Microblogging site Twitter on Wednesday blocked the account of Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, the legal adviser to Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), the body that is seeking referendum for Sikhs in 2020.

Pannun, on Sunday, had asked the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) president Manjit Singh GK to either endorse the referendum or he will not be allowed in the US, Europe and Canada.

GK was physically attacked in California and on his return to Delhi on Sunday, dismissed the threat by SFJ saying he stood for Sikh rights within constitution.

The SFJ latter blamed the Indian government for action by Twitter to block Pannun.
