  • Trapped, Tortured In Saudi, Ludhiana Woman Kuldeep Kaur Seeks Sushma Swaraj's Help
The family of a 50-year-old Ludhiana resident, who had been allegedly made to work as a slave in Saudi Arabia, on Saturday requested External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj to bring her back to India.

"My mother is in a bad state. Her employers, a Saudi couple, trapped her in Dubai since the past six months. They are ill treating her. I request External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj to bring her back to India," said Sonia, daughter of victim Kuldeep Kaur.

Kaur has sent a video message to her daughter claiming that she has been forced by the couple to work as a servant.

In the video, Kuldeep is seen crying and claiming that she was duped by a travel agent, who took her to Saudi Arabia.

The victim lamented that she is food deprived and requested the Indian authorities to rescue her.

The family has also urged the police to register a case against the accused travel agent.
