MONTREAL — The Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs says a Toronto-born Rabbi has died of his injuries nearly a year after being stabbed at a Jerusalem synagogue.
CIJA says that Howie Chaim Rotman, 55, was in a coma since he was critically injured in the attack in November 2014.
His death Saturday brings the death toll of the attack to six, including a police officer.
The two attackers were later killed in a police shootout.
Rotman is survived by his wife and ten children.
