Thousands of lovers of authentic Indian cuisine, dances, apparel, jewellery and spa treatments attended the third annual Manasota India Fest in the US city of Palmetto, a media report said on Sunday.
Besides the Dances of India culture programme at the Bradenton Area Convention Centre held on Saturday, attendees were also treated to Indian food from multiple restaurants.
"I love to eat Indian food," Bradenton Herald quoted Devon Sullivan, a student, as saying.
Organisers said they were thrilled with the success of the festival, which saw nearly 4,000 people in attendance.
"We're putting this event together for the community so that we can learn about each other and build a long lasting, trusting relationship," organiser Biren Pathak said.
The festival gives a lot of information about the culture of India, he added.
