Same-Sex Couple, From India And Pakistan, Win Twitter With Stunning Pics

Darpan News Desk IANS, 31 Jul, 2019 07:27 PM

A same-sex couple not just brought two religions closer but also two nations. A photoshoot from New York City has gone viral and has been melting hearts online around the world.

The two women—Sundas Malik, a Muslim artist from Pakistan, and Anjali Chakra, a Hindu originally from India—shared pictures from a photoshoot on Twitter.

The photos were posted by their photographer @Sarowarrrr with the caption: 'A New York Love Story'.

In the pictures, the couple can be seen sharing a transparent umbrella while standing in the rain, and kissing each other, with New York City as the backdrop.

Further, Sundas Malik posted pictures with her girlfriend, from the same shoot on her Instagram. She wrote: "I’m usually the kurta to her lehenga, so coming up with family-ready femme wedding outfits was more than a little stressful for me."

The two women were seen in ethnic attires for the photoshoot, with bindis, nose pin and jewellery. While Sundas wore a mint green lehenga, Anjali donned a blush pink saree.

Twitterati can’t stop showering their love on the couple.
