Ontario Woman In Hamilton Hospital Gets Dying Wish To See Her Horse One Last Time

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 21 Jan, 2016 11:52 AM
HAMILTON — Stephanie MacManus desperately wished to see her horse Luna one last time.

MacManus, a palliative care patient at Juravinksi Hospital in Hamilton, got her wish Wednesday.

Zachary's Paws for Healing says Luna was delivered to Juravinksi Hospital early Wednesday morning to spend time with the Milton, Ont., woman.

Zachary's Paws says it was the first time the organization has embarked on a special visit for a pet other than a dog or cat.

The foundation was formed in memory of Zachary Noble and his dream of being able to provide companion pet visits with hospital patients.

Zachary's Paws says it always tries to find ways to uplift patients and provide joy when they need it most.
