Man Killed While Guiding Group On Snowmobiles Near Sicamous, B.C.

The Canadian Press, 11 Dec, 2018 08:35 PM

SICAMOUS, B.C. — A man from Sicamous, B.C., has been killed after the snowmobile he was driving rolled into a creek bed.

RCMP say the 51-year-old man had been guiding a group of five other snowmobilers when his machine accidentally rolled, pinning him.

Police say some in the group administered CPR but they were unable to revive the man.

They were in an area north of Sicamous on Sunday afternoon.

A Shuswap Search and Rescue team and RCMP officers were able to locate the group and guide them out of the area as darkness and poor weather moved in.
