Indian-Origin Man Found Murdered In Malaysia

Darpan News Desk IANS, 17 Sep, 2015 10:52 AM
An Indian-origin man was found murdered near a road in Alam Impian township in Malaysia, a media report said.

A passer-by alerted the police on Wednesday when he stumbled upon a body lying by the side of the Kampung Sungai Kandis road in Shah Alam city in Malaysia, the Malaysian Insider newspaper reported.

"The victim in his 30s was of Indian descent, and clad in a T-shirt and a chequered pair of trousers," Shah Alam police chief ACP Shafien Mamat said in a statement.

Mamat said there were injuries on the victim's head, bruises near the eyes and body, adding that this indicated that the killer was armed with a blunt object.

The body had been sent to a hospital for post-mortem.

Mamat urged people with a missing family member to contact the police to facilitate investigations.
