Indian National Shot Dead In Philippines

    An Indian national was shot dead by a parking attendant in Las Piñas City of Philippines, media reported.
     
    According to the Southern Police District (SPD), the victim was identified as Pavittar Lal of Bernabe subdivision in Parañaque City, the Phil Star reported on Wednesday.
     
    The suspect, identified as Tito Navigar, 43, of Openia St. Baclaran, Parañaque City ran upon seeing the approaching police officers.
     
    Navigar was arrested after he was cornered by the police officers and village watchmen.
     
    Police seized a 0.38 calibre revolver from Navigar. Five spent shells and a deformed slug were also recovered.
     
    Navigar has been detained at the Las Piñas police headquarters as criminal charges were being readied against him before the Las Piñas City Prosecutor's Office. 
     
    However, police were yet to determine the motive behind the fatal shooting.
