'Imran Khan should learn politics from Bhuttos'

Darpan News Desk IANS, 06 Oct, 2014 05:23 AM
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Monday said Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan should learn politics from the Bhutto family.

"Politics is not a game," Bilawal said while addressing a gathering of PPP workers.

Bilawal also claimed that the next prime minister would be someone from the Bhutto clan, Dawn online reported.

He said the Bhutto enigma was still very much alive in hearts of the people.

Responding to a debate about his entry into politics, Bilawal said that some forces did not want to see him active in the political arena.

The PPP has chosen Oct 18 for his formal entry into the political arena.

Seven years ago, on that date, a huge rally had greeted former prime minister Benazir Bhutto at Karachi airport on her return from self-exile and was taking her home when terrorists struck her convoy, killing and wounding hundreds.

She survived the attack, only to be killed in Rawalpindi 10 weeks later.

The PPP chairman has resumed political activities after a break of almost one year.

Bilawal recently announced his decision to take part in the 2018 general election from late Benazir Bhutto's Ratedero seat in Larkana.
