Donald Trump In The White House? Atlantic Lottery Takes Bets On U.S. Presidential Race

The Canadian Press, 06 Jan, 2016 11:53 AM
HALIFAX — Politically minded Atlantic Canadians can now wager on who they think will come out on top in the U.S. presidential race.

The Atlantic Lottery Corp. is taking bets through its Pro-Line platform on the outcome of the Democratic and Republican nominations as well as the presidency.

Spokeswoman Christine Manore says it's a first for the corporation, though it has previously taken so-called novelty bets on awards shows or televised singing competitions.

She says the corporation is always looking to change up its products.

Manore says the game's odds are set by the same team that manages the corporation's sports wagers.
