  • Crowd in thousands descends to a pool party in Wuhan without masks

A story that is cause for concern and shock. Thousands in the Chinese city of Wuhan, where the virus originated attended an electronic dance music pool party without wearing masks and ignored COVID-19 regulations of physical distancing completely.

The party took place on Sunday August 15th. While were wearing swimsuits and life jackets at the Wuhan Maya Beach Water Park, none of them had a mask or a face covering on.

The over 2 month lockdown in the capital of Hubei province, came to an end in April.  The Hubei government is trying to recover economically from the COVID-19 pandemic and in order to bounce back the local economy it  has been offering free entry to 400 tourist sites.

According to government reports Wuhan, the epicenter of Covid-19, has no more patients  in hospitals. The last patient recovered in April.
