A British teacher narrowly escaped being poisoned when two of her pupils, aged 10, put a "bleach-like liquid" in her coffee.
Emma Place, a teacher from Clapham Terrace Community Primary School in Leamington Spa, a spa town in Warwickshire county, reportedly had her back turned just when the boys poured the substance into her flask, the Independent reported Monday.
But another pupil warned the teacher of the danger just when she had a chance to drink it, the report said citing The Sun.
As police were called to the school, they said the boys had not realised the seriousness of what they were doing.
Since the age of criminal responsibility is 10 in Britain, the kids could have been arrested and charged with an offence.
