Ambulance And Train Collide In Langley, Patient Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries

    LANGLEY, B.C. — Two people are in hospital including a patient who was in an ambulance that crashed into a train in Langley, B.C.
     
    RCMP say the patient has life-threatening injuries and an attendant who was at the rear of the vehicle is in stable condition.
     
    Sgt. Holly Largy says the driver of the ambulance is suffering from back pain but is otherwise unhurt.
     
     
    She says two air ambulances were dispatched to the area after the crash and that a major road has been closed.
     
    The cause of the collision is under investigation.
     
     
    Police are asking for any witnesses to contact them.
