5-Month-Old Pakistani Child Kidnapped, Smuggled To Dubai In Handbag

Darpan News Desk IANS, 16 Sep, 2019 08:08 PM

A five-month-old Pakistani child was allegedly kidnapped and smuggled to Dubai from Karachi in a bag.

A video of the incident was tweeted by Deputy Commissioner of Police (South Delhi) HGS Dhaliwal on Sunday. The viral video shows that the infant was “kidnapped” and put into a handbag before being flown abroad.

The video showed that the baby was packed with other soft things in the bag. Two small steel glasses were kept on the baby’s head to keep it stable. The baby, however, seemed quite and calm.

The kidnapper was caught at Dubai Airport on arrival, say media reports.

The baby is safe and has since been reunited with parents.
