You can't steal this bicycle

Darpan News Desk IANS, 25 Aug, 2014 08:13 AM
Three engineering students in Chile have developed a bicycle called Yerka which they claim is impossible to steal.

The website for the project shows a smart looking bicycle which can be locked onto its own frame in 20 seconds in just three small steps.

Unlike bicycle locks which can be easily cut with a hacksaw or bolt cutters, this cycle has a thick frame of steel protecting it.

The only way to steal the cycle is to break the frame, and then the cycle is just broken metal, unusable by the thief.
