Watch Police From Across The World Dance In Response To ‘Running Man’ Challenge

Darpan News Desk IANS, 06 May, 2016 12:10 PM
On May 2, New Zealand Police posted a video on their Facebook page which went viral on social media.

In the video, eight police officers dance to My Boo for ‘Running Man’ challenge. They nominated other police departments across the world including the famous NYPD and LYPD For the same.

“We catch people on the run every day, this was a new #runningmanchallenge for our team. Are you up for it Victoria Police, NSW Police Force, Western Australia Police, Queensland Police Service, South Australia Police, ACT Policing, Tasmania Police, LAPD Headquarters, Isles of Scilly Police and NYPD?” they wrote.

NYPD was quick to respond and posted their version from Brooklyn the very next day dancing with local youths and a classic “mic drop” at the end.

After the NYPD and officers in Scotland issued their own versions, the New South Wales Police has now launched their own Running Man, while officers in the Northern Territory have taken a different approach, claiming they've been left out.

New South Wales Police Department's dance moves are much to be desired when compared against New Zealand original video, which went viral after being posted to Facebook on Tuesday.

Officers are seen dancing with batons at Manly Wharf on Sydney's northern beaches before breaking-down into freestyle dance steps.

In an attempt to stay involved, the Northern Territory Police Department followed suit posting their version of the dance just minutes after New South Wales.

In a post to Facebook the NT Police commented on their obvious omission from the challenge and said: 'Hey NZ Police Recruitment GAME ON!'

'The Northern Territory Police, Fire and Emergency Services thank everyone for their support since our unfortunate omission from the #runningmanchallenge.

'Challenge accepted (and smashed) and extended to Singapore Police Force, New Orleans Police Department, Polizei Berlin Police Nationale.'

Adding a special thank you to Crocosaurus Cove Darwin at the end.

The NT police are seen dancing in front of a large tank with a crocodile floating behind them.

So far police forces in Finland, Australia, Scotland, California and the New York Police Department have posted videos of their sweet dance moves.

As of Friday morning, Vancouver and Toronto police had yet to respond to the challenge.
