A day of ice swimming for a group of friends quickly turned into the stuff of nightmares when a man got trapped under ice.

 

A video shared by Shanghaiist on Facebook shows a man taking a casual dip in an icy water body and missing an ice hole. Thankfully, his alert friends came to his rescue.
