Virender Sehwag Trolls Shane Warne And Sourav Ganguly For 'Sleeping On The Job'

IANS, 06 Jun, 2017 01:29 PM

It’s no easy task for commentators and others involved in television broadcasts at major sporting events. Ask Sourav Ganguly and Shane Warne.

The two cricket greats are currently part of the commentary team at ICC Champions Trophy 2017, and it seems neither has been able to catch much sleep during the first few days of the tournament.

However, when they did try to take their naps during a rain break on Sunday, in a match India would eventually win with ease against arch-rivals Pakistan, pictures of them dozing off at work ended up of social media, thanks to fellow commentator and former India batter Virender Sehwag.

Sehwag took to Twitter the next day, poking fun at their state of deep sleep. “The future is shaped by one’s dreams. These legends still don’t waste time in following their dreams. Sone ka Maza,” he tweeted.

Shane Warne responded shortly to the tweet, while Sehwag’s former teammate Harbhajan Singh too acknowledged the hilarity of the moment.
