Comedy group AIB, known for its provocative humour, today deleted a post on Prime Minister Narendra Modi after being roasted on Twitter by people. The Mumbai police tweeted that the post would be forwarded to the cyber cell for investigation.
The group posted an image of PM Modi's lookalike at a railway station along with a photo of the Prime Minister with a Snapchat dog filter, captioned #wanderlust. However, not all Twitter users were impressed, and the AIB came under fire from Modi supporters for “insulting” the prime minister and hurting “nationalist” sentiments.
Would you Believe if I say he is not our PM @narendramodi but Modi Ji's Look-alike šµšµšµ#namo #PMModi #duplicate #IndianRailways pic.twitter.com/HGmIOcAIdy

Some Twitter users were also quick to tag Mumbai Police on the “offensive” post, saying a police complaint should be filed against AIB over the offensive picture.
And Mumbai Police was quick to respond, unlike the case when cops laughed off a complaint from a 22-year-old woman who was flashed and masturbated at by a man in a local train. Here, the police said it would forward the complaint to its cyber unit.
Thank you for bringing this to our notice. We are forwarding this to the cyber police station.

Tanmay Bhatt, one of the prominent faces of the group, then tweeted his response to the trolling.
PS: Will continue making jokes. And deleting if necessary. And making jokes again. And Apologizing if necessary. Don't care what you think.

After the backlash they faced from Modi supporters, AIB decided to pull down the tweet. But it didn't stop there, left wing group started mocking AIB for erasing tweet.
Now AIB should just stick to making anti-Congress sketches which they did with much pride during our regime, ab woh FOE yaad nahi!

Gaurav Pandhi of the Congress responded to Rohan Joshi by calling him a “coward” and “hypocrite” for taking down the post. He also took a dig at the BJP and suggested that they would never rob the comedy group of the freedom to express their opinions.
At least not COWARD & Hypocrite like you all at AIB. Relax, Rohan! The rhetoric isn't going to build a spine for you. Please keep crawling! https://t.co/vaKhu21Dbg
