Miracles Do Happen: Man presumed dead is alive

Darpan News Desk IANS, 05 Oct, 2014 06:24 AM
In a rare incident, a man presumed killed by Ebola in Liberia regained consciousness when he was lifted into a body bag by a burial team, it was reported Sunday.

The incident was reported from Liberia's capital Monrovia.

The burial team started dousing the body in bleach, a regular precaution to stop the spread of Ebola infection, ABC news reported.

But to the shock of the burial team, the man began to move his arm as he was lifted into the body bag. "He's alive! He's not dead!" screamed a member of the burial team.

The man then was sent to a hospital.

Almost 2,000 Liberians have been killed by the deadly Ebola virus, which has devastated west Africa.
