Malala Yousafzai Targeted By Trolls For Wearing Skinny Jeans And Heels At Oxford

Darpan News Desk IANS, 18 Oct, 2017 01:23 PM

Malala Yousafzai was targeted by trolls after she was spotted ‘wearing skinny jeans and heeled boots’ during her first week of studies at Oxford University.

First published on a Pakistani Facebook page called Siasat.pk, the photo has now made Malala a target for trolls attacking her for wearing jeans instead of her usual outfit of salwar-kameez.

The Nobel laureate has been criticized for donning a jacket, jeans and ankle-length boots, even though there is no official confirmation on whether the woman pictured is actually Malala.

The photo was shared on October 14 and has been captioned 'Malala Yousafzai in UK'. See it below:

Since being shared online, the picture has collected over 11,000 reactions and 2,000 comments. While a lot of comments criticizing Malala are too distasteful to reproduce, there are many who have defended Malala's choice to wear what she wants.
