WINNIPEG — A Winnipeg city committee is still struggling with a decision about whether a pot-bellied pig named Podgy can remain with its owner.
Emily Sydor was ordered to remove the pig from her home because it's a bylaw violation to have the animal.
Sydor has appealed the order, arguing the pig is a service animal to assist her with emotional issues.
For the second time in a month, the community services committee has delayed a vote on Podgy.
Sydor's father has urged councillors to make a decision now because of the stress the uncertainty is causing his daughter.
