Indian Groom AKAASH YADAV Skydives Into His Baraat For His Wedding With GAGANPREET KAUR In Mexico. WATCH VIRAL VIDEO

Darpan News Desk, 28 Nov, 2019 08:04 PM

Indian-origin residents of the United States, Akaash Yadav and Gaganpreet Kaur, recently got married in Mexico but their wedding was no ordinary affair.

Akash opted to dive from an aircraft to his wedding venue in Mexico's Los Cabos. As Yadav took the sky-way, gliding down in a parachute to his wedding destination, guests around cheered him from the ground.

A video of his grand and innovate entry to his wedding has gone viral on social media.

One of the videos show a person capturing the groom's entry and guests reactions, asking one of the groomsmen, "How crazy is this?" to which the groomsmen replies, "Look at that," as he looks and shoots the parachute glides down the clear blue sky.

The video shared on Instagram by WedMeGood also shows guests waiting at the wedding venue, trying to spot the groom and capture the sight.

The groom’s plan was threatened by an impending storm.

Musician, Armaan Gupta, who was also present at the wedding shared a video of the whole thing. The gram was captioned, "Why come into your baraat on a horse when you can skydive your way in? Akaash Yadav coming in hotttt to take Gaganpreet Singh to be his one and only wife. Love you guys."

Photographer Zohaib Ali, who documented the wedding, told the Indian Express that the groom's entry was "crazy" and difficult to capture. "We had to coordinate the dive, with not only us being ready, but also the 500 Indians during the baraat. Plus, remember, we had no contact with the groom after he took the plunge. So we literally were left to look up and anticipate his jump," he said.
