    The contestant Kodi Lee, who is blind and autistic, sang and played piano, moving the judges and audience to tears and sending them to their feet as the audition song concluded.

     
     

     
     

    “What just happened there was extraordinary,” Simon admitted. “You have a really beautiful tone. Thank you so much for trusting us on this show. I’m going to remember this moment for the rest of my life.”
