Woman Who Threw Ink At Kejriwal Gets Bail

    A court here on Friday granted bail to a woman who threw ink at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal at a public gathering here on Sunday.
     
    Additional Sessions Judge Sanjay Kumar Aggarwal granted bail to Bhawna Arora from the Aam Aadmi Party's breakaway group in Punjab, and said that no purpose will be served by keeping her in custody.
     
    The court asked her to furnish a personal bond of Rs.1 lakh and a surety of like amount.
     
    Arora was arrested on Monday after she threw ink at Kejriwal alleging a "CNG scam" in the AAP government. She, however, missed him. The incident took place at an event here held to mark the "success" of the odd-even traffic restriction scheme.
     
    Kejriwal, who was speaking at the gathering held at the city's Chhatrasal Stadium, remained unruffled.
