Woman Allegedly Gang-Raped In Delhi's Mongoluri Area

IANS, 18 Jun, 2016 12:04 PM
A 25-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped by a friend and three others in outer Delhi's Mongoluri area, police said on Saturday.

In her complaint, the woman told police that the prime accused, who befriended her around six months ago, allegedly raped her over a period of time on pretext of marriage.

She approached the police earlier this week after her friend, who has a mobile repair shop, lured her to his room where he, along with three others, allegedly raped her.

A case under Indian Penal Code Section 376 D (gangrape) has been registered and police are looking out for the accused who are absconding, a senior official said.
