Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh in an exclusive interview with Rajdeep Sardesai slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for taking the credit for the success of the surgical strike.

Amarinder Singh told India Today TV that the Paramilitary forces, Army and Air force carried out the strikes, not PM Narendra Modi. Amarinder Singh also recalled the attempts made under Indira Gandhi regime to fight terrorism.

He said that 1947 war and Kargil war were among other steps taken by the Congress under different prime ministerial regime but none of them took the credits for the same.
