LYTTON, B.C. — The Trans-Canada Highway has reopened as crews battle a wildfire in British Columbia's southern Interior.
DriveBC is warning drivers to expect delays as both lanes have now reopened between Hope and Cache Creek.
The BC Wildfire Service says a seven-hectare blaze is burning about four kilometres south of Lytton.
Fire information officer Erin Catherall says 35 firefighters and a helicopter are on site and are making good progress.
She says the fire has been 100 per cent contained.
Traffic had been blocked in both directions earlier Thursday.
