The Canadian Press, 17 Oct, 2016 01:37 PM
A teenage boy died after being stabbed by a youth allegedly over a tiff involving a girl in Aman Vihar area of outer Delhi, police said today.

The incident took place last night in which Sushil died. Police said, before the incident, an argument took place between Sushil and Sonu at 8.30 pm on Saturday over the girl. The argument had ended.

However, when Sushil went to Shri Santam Dharm temple in Inder Enclave Phass-II after the argument, Sonu's friend, Rahul, 23, picked up a fight with him.

Another friend of Sonu, Bhura, 22, also joined the fight.

During the scuffle, Rahul picked up a pair of scissors from the counter of a shop nearby and allegedly stabbed Sushil, a police officer said.

He sustained deep wounds and was declared brought dead by doctors at a nearby hospital.

"Rahul and Bhura were absconding after the incident and teams were deployed to catch them. They have been arrested for the murder," said MN Tiwari, DCP(outer).

The accused are local boys and work as Dhol players. The incident took place when they were going to attend a function. The victim worked as a TV mechanic.

The incident comes nearly a month after a 21-year-old woman was stabbed to death by her jilted lover in Delhi's Burari area.
