Former India speedster S. Sreesanth and his wife Bhuveneshwari Kumari have become proud parents of a baby girl. The child was born a day ahead of Mother's Day.
"Very pleased and so so excited to let u all know that we are blessed with a baby angel on mother's day eve... gods grace," Sreesanth tweeted on Sunday.
The mother and child are doing fine.
Bhuveneshwari Kumari belongs to a royal family in Rajasthan and the two got married In December 2013.
Sreesanth's cricketing career took a dramatic dip after he was arrested for his alleged involvement in a match-fixing case.
But with the trial over and the verdict expected to be delivered by a Delhi court later this month, he remains confident that he will be exonerated.
Sreesanth, only the second Keralite to play for Indian cricket team, played 27 Tests (87 wickets), 53 ODIs (75 wickets) and 10 T20 international matches (seven wickets).
He was banned from all forms of the game at all levels after his arrest and trial in the match-fixing case.
