Smriti Irani Injured In A Car Accident On Yamuna Expressway

    Union HRD Minister Smriti Irani on Sunday morning tweeted to say she was not hurt in the accident involving her convoy near the Yamuna Expressway late on Saturday.
     
    Her tweets suggested that the vehicles at the top of her convoy ran into some vehicles already involved in an accident.
     
    According to reports, Irani injured her knee in the accident in which many cars crashed into each other.
     
    According to preliminary information, the collision took place when a motorcyclist, Ramesh Kumar, hit a Honda City car. Irani's escort vehicle was just behind the Honda City.
     
    Kumar, said to be a resident of Kalindi Vihar in Agra, died in the accident.
     
    Three security personnel - a driver and two constables - reportedly sustained minor injuries.
