A 40-year-old man has been arrested for attacking a woman working at a toll booth in an incident that was been caught on camera.
The suspect has been identified only as Manjit, a resident of Shikohpur. Footage taken from security cameras at the Kherki Daula toll booth shows Manjit, who owns a gym, punch the victim in the face after they had an argument over payment of the tax.
Manjit, who insisted being allowed to pass without having to make the payment, suddenly puts his hand through the window of the booth, grabs hold of her face, and punches her. Another man is seen in the security footage trying to intervene.

The attendant then buries her face in her hands and tries to clean the blood spilling from her nose.
Time stamp on the security footage shows it was 8:51 am on Friday.
The victim says about the attack: “He claimed he was from nearby village and as my duty I asked for ID proof. He got offended and said that he was local man who never paid toll. He said he was local don and would set me right and then he attacked me and fled”.
She claimed that she found her line of work becoming more and more unsafe for women employees.
The video went viral and drew outrage on social media, with many asking Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar for action.
