Shocking Moment: A Bear Tumbles Off A Cliff And Dies In River Below After It Is Pelted With Rocks By Kashmiri Villagers

Darpan News Desk IANS, 10 May, 2019 10:34 PM

In a shocking in-human incident, a brown bear may or may not have lost his life after people started pelting stones in Drass area of Kargil district.

Two shocking videos of the incident surfaced on social media, showing a brown bear first caught in a barbwire where he struggles to move out.

In another video, the brown bear is seen climbing a cliff and people started throwing stones at him, because of which he loses his balances and falls into the fast running stream.

By the looks of it, it is not confirmed whether the bear died or managed to survive.

The video was shared on Twitter by former Director of tourism Kashmir, Mahmood Ahmed Shah on Thursday.

He wrote: “This is macabre, happened today at Drass”.

“There is one boy Muzamil who works with WWF and has a travel company who sent me these videos,” Shah said.
