Sania Mirza fined for violating traffic rules by Hyderabad police !

    Tennis star Sania Mirza was on Monday fined for violation of traffic rules. Hyderabad police on Monday night imposed a fine of Rs.200 as the number plate of her car was found to be in violation of the rules. 
     
    Police sources said the number plate was not as per the format prescribed by the traffic police and hence a challan was issued.
     
    The violation was detected by traffic police personnel during checking of vehicles in posh Jubliee Hills area. The newly crowned Wimbledon doubles champion is also the brand ambassador of Telangana.
     
    She was appointed as the ‘Brand Ambassador’ of Telangana in 2014. She was appointed to promote the new ‘state’s interests’ in India and abroad, according to Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Managing Director Jayesh Rajan.
