Robert Vadra Hopes Enquiry Is Not For Political Vendetta

Darpan News Desk IANS, 15 May, 2015 10:27 AM
Robert Vadra, son-in-law of Congress president Sonia Gandhi, said on Friday that he hoped the enquiry ordered against him over his land deals in Haryana will not be used for political vendetta.

However, he reiterated that all laws were complied with in a completely transparent manner.

"An enquiry has been ordered by the government of Haryana. Let us await its outcome. Neither I nor anyone associated with me has anything to hide," said Vadra on his official facebook page.

He added: "I sincerely hope that an enquiry will not be used for political vendetta."

Reactions from Vadra came a day after the Haryana government announced a one-man commission to probe the granting of licences to his company and other firms for developing commercial properties in Gurgaon's Sector 83.
