Rahul Gandhi Says RSS' Idea Similar To Muslim Brotherhood In Arab World, BJP Calls Him Immature

IANS, 24 Aug, 2018 01:09 PM
In a scathing attack on Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Friday compared it with infamous Muslim Brotherhood and blamed it for trying to capture India's institutions.

The Gandhi scion and president of India's oldest political party made these remarks during an interaction at the International Institute of Strategic Studies in London.

Drawing a comparison between the Muslim Brotherhood and RSS, the 48-year-old Congress leader said that their agenda is to make one ideology flow through all institutions.

He said, "RSS is trying to change the nature of India. There is no other organization in India that wants to capture India's institutions. RSS' idea is similar to the idea of the Muslim Brotherhood in the Arab world. Their idea is that one ideology should run through all institutions."

He also attributed the idea of Demonetization to RSS and asserted that the Prime Minister got the idea from the aforementioned social organization.

He said, "The idea of Demonetization came from RSS directly to PM. The RBI was not spoken too, the finance minister didn't know and the cabinet was locked out."

Rahul Gandhi is presently in the United Kingdom and is taking part in several interactions. He has come to the United Kingdom after making a two days visit to Germany.
