Punjab native arrested with drugs in Goa

    A man from Punjab was arrested in Goa Monday for possessing amphetamine drugs, also known as 'speed', valued at Rs.3.70 lakh, police said.
     
    Police said Vinod Sharma, 52, was arrested from Calangute beach village, 20 km from Panaji, which is known for drug trade.
     
    Sharma has been booked under various sections of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
