PM Modi congratulates ZPM on winning Mizoram election, assures of all possible support

New Delhi, Dec 4 (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday congratulated the Zoram People's Movement (ZPM) over its victory in the Mizoram assembly elections and assured it of all possible support in furthering the progress of the northeastern state.
Congratulations to the Zoram People’s Movement and Mr. Lalduhoma for the victory in the Mizoram Assembly elections. I assure all possible support in furthering the progress of Mizoram.

The remarks from the Prime Minister came after the ZPM won 27 seats out of 40 in the state and the MNF managed to win 10 seats. The BJP won two seats and the Congress one in the recently concluded assembly election, for which the counting took place on Monday.
The accused was identified as Bintu a.k.a Mintu alias Bittu (23), a resident of district Bhiwani in Haryana. According to police, on Wednesday a tip-off was received that one person, Lalit, who is a resident of Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh, would come to the Civil Lines area of Delhi to supply illegal firearms and ammunition to one of the members of the Kasni Gang.
Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday blasted the BJP government at the Centre, saying that all the cases against his party leaders are false and the agencies keep on investigating but nothing comes out of the probe. Interacting with the media here, Kejriwal said: "All cases are false. They (agencies) keep investigating but nothing comes out of the probe."

The Telangana State Anti-Narcotics Bureau (TSNAB) has arrested an inter-state gang of drug peddlers and seized drugs from them. The sleuths of the TSNAB along with Chandanagar Police of Cyberabad Commissionerate apprehended five people who were found to be in possession of 18 grams of MDMA in the limits of Chandanagar Police Station.
