Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh today paid obeisance at the Harmandir Sahib. The Head Granthi of Harmandir Sahib presented a Siropa to the Chief Minister.
SGPC Chief Secretary, Harcharan Singh, broke the deadlock and honoured Captain Amarinder Singh.
This was for the first time that SGPC honoured Captain Amarinder Singh as Chief Minister of Punjab. THe Chief Minister was accompanied by all his ministers, several MLAs and Senior Congress Leaders including newly appointed Punjab Congress President Sunil Jakhar. Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh also visited Durgiana Mandir.
