Darpan News Desk IANS, 05 Aug, 2014 07:48 AM
The Pakistan Army Tuesday opened unprovoked firing at Indian positions along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district, according to defence sources.

"The Pakistan Army violated the ceasefire in Shehpur sector of the LoC today (Tuesday), indulging in unprovoked firing at our positions," the defence sources told IANS here.

"The firing started at 11.30 a.m."

"They were using small arms and automatic weapons to target our positions. Our soldiers have retaliated with same calibre weapons," said the defence sources.
