Pakistan Channels Showing Morphed Clips Of Casualties, Say Army

IANS, 30 Sep, 2016 12:39 PM
Some Pakistani channels were playing "morphed" video clips showing Indian casualties in surgical strikes against terrorist launch pads across the LoC as only one soldier involved in the operation received "minor injury" during exfiltration, army sources said on Friday.

The sources said that "fake" video clips were also circulating on social media and said these were examples of "black propaganda". They emphasised that minor injury to the soldier involved in surgical strike was not due to "enemy or terrorist action".

The Indian Army killed unspecified number of terrorists during the operation across Kupwara and Poonch sectors in the early hours of September 29.

The military action followed the September 18 terror attack at an Indian Army camp at Uri in Jammu and Kashmir which left 19 soldiers dead and many others injured.
